First hand: nice, standard blocker bluff
Second hand: cry and call. There's a good chance he has you beat, but with the pot odds you're getting I think you'll be good often enough, unless he's super super passive and never bluffs. I've seen fish show up here with 22, a bare 8 and a busted draw, and just a busted draw. His minraise on the turn is troublesome though as it seems like he could have made kings and eights and boated up on the river.
