Default Re: Legal? 1/2 NL Flashed hole card

He's directly on my left, talking right into my ear, trying to get a read. Then he turns over one of his hole cards, the case Ace. He goes all-in and I eventually fold because he's clearly got to have me out-kicked, but I was wondering about the legality of this. I folded, but my girlfriend, who also plays, says I should have alerted the dealer or the floor and could have been awarded the pot.

This is very hosue dependent, I have seen some casinos where this could be ruled a dead hand by flashing cards even if its heads up, although i have also been to casinos where when the action is heads up, you can do whatever you want. You should view it this way, you got into a hand with A2, not very strong, you put out a feeler raise, players comes over the top of you, and you fold, very standard. If he doesnt show u the ace he probably stacks you so you should be grateful.
