The best new DVD release I've seen lately by far is The Lives of Others, check it out if you haven't.

FWIW, I thought The Lookout was pretty good, but nothing particularly special. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is earning some serious respect the last couple years, and I enjoyed Jeff Daniels performance as well. The story was kinda meh for me though (maybe because I was expecting more of a thriller and less of a character drama).
