WTF, wrong dude! What happened to the old college try? You just bluff your way through it man. Unless you look suspicious, why the hell would a cop assume you have contraband in your bag? Is it not a college? "We just came from the library, I just have books, you can take a look if you want to though" in a disinterested way. Bonus points for wearing a scarf and/or beret and mentioning Levinas on the way in, to set the tone properly.
Seriously though... it's not a concentration camp. You should be resourceful enough to sneak a small amount of booze past a cop.
