No, you aren't going to get arrested for having a neteller account or one that is associated with TruePoker.

No, making bets on sports isn't illegal.
I believe that the UIGEA specifies that the banks or CC's are breaking the law if they knowingly process such transactions.
But the players or bettors themselves are not breaking the law as is reiterated in the above post.

It is true that they definitely seem more concerned with sports-betting than poker players. But it's easy to do either one on many various sites throughout the U.S. and no, you aren't going to get arrested for it.


OP can open his old TP account if that's what he wants to do and the fact that it was associated with an old neteller account does not mean he's going to get arrested.

In the U.S. there are literally thousands and thousands of players on PokerStars and FullTilt and other sites playing on the very same accounts that they had originally funded with neteller. And I don't think any of them are worried about being arrested for it nor should they be.
