Default Re: Turn OP check-raised

I'm new, obviously, and a new convert to being a student of the game, although I've played for years. I've been doing some reading, and I'm here to learn, so please don't flame too much if I missed something glaring...

I say fold. You have two outs to make a winning hand. Odds are 22 to 1 on that, but Pot odds are about 8 to 1, and implied only a bit higher. There are lots more outs for other hands, but don't they have to be heavily discounted due to the paired board, flush and straight draws? Villain just check-raised after the turn. Without knowing what kind of player he is it's a guess, but usually only someone with a good hand, or a maniac would do that.
Q Q is a great starting hand, and I know the long term expectation is way positive, but isn't there enough evidence to drop this one?
Again, I'm new. Please educate, don't try to intimidate.
