Default Goodbye BetOnBet

This was sent to me today.
Dear US customer and BetOnBet player,

"On September 30th 2006 the U.S. Congress passed the SAFE Port Act,
which also contained provisions known as the Unlawful Internet Gambling
Enforcement Act of 2006 affecting the processing of payments between U.S.
customers and online gaming companies. The legislation was signed into
law by President George W Bush on October 13th 2006.

We regret that the U.S. has taken this step to make it virtually
impossible for BetOnBet to offer real-money entertainment to U.S. customers.
It is doubtful that the U.S. authorities will achieve their goals by
introducing such legislation. Within our gaming indsutry we believe that
a properly monitored forward-looking regulation would be much more
effective than this general ban.

Entirely due to this new law, we are disappointed to announce that
after careful consideration, BetOnBet has made the decision to voluntarily
exit the U.S. market, as compliance with the variety of effects of the
law prohibits us from being your favourite online gaming operator.

Accordingly, as of Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 12.00AM, all
real-money casino and poker games as well as the betting exchange will no
longer be available for BetOnBet clients within the U.S. We will also stop
any US-based money transfers at the same time.

You are also very welcome to continue to use our play-money facilities,
even after the February 01, 2007 deadline.

BetOnBet will continue providing gaming services to our non-US based
clients. As far as we are concerned, our operations are 100% legal under
international law and we follow all laws of the jurisdictions in which
our operations reside. As we regret the loss of our US customers, we
ask for understanding of the need for every international gaming company,
to comply with domestic law in every jurisdiction we approach.

We are sorry to risk losing you, but hope we will get the chance to
meet all our U.S. players again in real-money games. We will do our utmost
to continuously keep you up to date with future developments and will
keep you informed in the event of changes to US regulations that could
facilitate your return as a valued real-money player of BetOnBet.

If you are a Non-US domiciled player, and you find that our service to
you is in any way affected following the 12:00 A.M 01 February, 2007,
please contact our live support team immediately

Regards

The BetOnBet Team "
