check behind is perfect on the flop. It's a WA/WB situation. If you're betting, you're just hoping that he's got a weaker A. SB absolutely does not have "control of the hand" here, because we know we're good most of the time, but betting is only marginally +EV. Tough decision on the river? No, it's an insta-call because it was setup perfectly by the flop check.

If we bet the flop and got called, THEN we would have a tough decision.
