I think you're going to be best off taking the shuttle to either Resorts or Trump/Majestic Star. There really aren't any well-known clubs in the city, and I'd probably not bother anyway. The underground games I know about have been busted in the past, and are probably not safe for that reason.
The Resorts shuttle leaves from both the Loop and Chinatown regularly. Give them a call for details. The Trump shuttle leaves from Chinatown at 15 minutes past the even hours. Getting to Chinatown is very easy on the Red Line El train, so not having car isn't an excuse. I go with regularity and often take the shuttles down.
