based purely on the description, as soon as he raises the flop i'm shutting down. i don't know that i'm really that concerned with showing down, either.
this is all a function of our read. he proved in a prior hand that he can beat top pair and not put in a raise. that means here he's usually got top pair(and most likely aces) beaten. does he play this way with KT or K3? if so we can consider showing down more often. if he's only got a set here, i'm hating our hand.
still, it's really crucial that we have confidence in our read. if we have a smidgen of a doubt, we need to calldown. we think we have a tendency that we can exploit, but it's necessary in these situations that we make sure it isn't OUR assumptions that are being exploited.
