Its multi-step process using Photoshop or similar image editing software. The PNG files have transparency that need to be preserved. If done incorrectly you end up with green pixellation on the edges/corners of the cards.

The process is actually detailed (somewhere) in this thread. I had to have DWarrior teach me, step by step, using screenshots. My first few versions of decks had transparency problems on the card corners when the tables were re-sized. My process now eliminates that.

It takes me ~20-30 minutes or so, to resize a deck using a cards3.png (700x420). This only creates the cards0, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6.

My original decks are all created from scratch in Photoshop using multiple layers. The result is clearer images/text when that image is resized. I create a cards3 and a cardsmall at 700x420, then resize those to create the final version of the complete deck. I then package the final product into a self-extracting installer for ease of installation.
