Tough spot HU $200 on Pokerstars
First post so go easy.
Heads up $200 Sit and go...have notes on villain that he's solid player and fairly textbook.
The hand:
Hero $1800
Villain $1200, blinds $10 $20
Hero dealt 99 on the button...
Hero raises to $60
Villain re-raises to $130
Hero re-raises to $240, my thinking being that if he has an over pair he'll probably just push right there and I can fold.
Villain calls.
Flop comes K 4 6 rainbow.
Villain bets $100 in to a $480 pot.
Hero raises to $300. He calls.
Turn comes a 10.
He goes all in for last $600 ish.
Very situational based but I give it some thought and eventually put him on a hand.
Results and my thinking below in white:
I ask him in the chat box if he has AQ...don't get a response but then call and he turns over AQ. He then rivers an Ace to double through.
I basically felt he played the hand fairly weak the whole way through and when he simply called on the turn and shoved the river it just didn't add up to a strong made holding. I felt a draw was more likely and that meant AQ or AJ.
Could I have played this different/better? <font color="white"> </font> Again, go easy please!
