you mean when i said 'no not really' in response to her asking me if i had any books? and how would this alert her that i am interested too? doesnt this presuppose that she is interested in me?
i agree that this wasn't a great reply but why would it cause her not to like me if not only because i failed to enter into conversation?
assuming anything based on this other than the fact that she cared enough about me for some reason to talk to me and that i blew a good chance to have a convo is unwarranted afaik.
