Default Re: BODOG

[ QUOTE ]
On the credit card Bill the charge was listed under Sav call. We called the number that was listed with it. they said that they were save aloha and that someone else was using their number but they didn't know who. They recommended that we stop payment and we did. Only when Bodog disabled my account did I know that the charge was for Bodog.

Doh!!

First of all after the $100 credit card deposit weren't you even a little bit curious why no Bodog transaction had appeared on your statement yet an identical $100 charge to "Sav call" did? Secondly why would you take the advice of some unknown person suggesting a stop payment instead of simply contacting Bodog directly to see if that was indeed their transaction?

It seems to me the average person would have put two and two together and realized that was Bodog transaction or at least investigated more.
