I hated posting the logo, but to make it more comparable, I present this scenario:

The major leagues are essentially a farm team for the Japanese league. Every time a MLB player becomes great, a Japanese team swoops in and signs him. Wouldn't you be happy to get a great player back in your league?

If the dodgers recruited some ridiculously good Japanese player I wouldn't be happy at all. I would be quite unhappy actually.
