Got to talked to kenny a bit more
I was playing with Kenny online @ PLO, managed to get a lil more out of him:
I asked him who his top 20 was, he gave me his top 5:
1) Ivey
2) PA
(He said these two were the clear top 2)
3) Danny Alaei
4) Nam Le (actually I'm pretty sure that this is incorrect but it was something very similar, it was some name I've never heard of before)
5) David B
I asked him to clarify what made them so much better. He basically said the same thing that DS said but I think clarified it a bit. He said that they are better at laying down the second nuts and calling with king hi to beat bluffs or in other words were better at figuring out the relative strength of their hands vs their opponents.
We talked about some other random stuff. He told me he felt like his edge online was almost nonexistent and that he really felt the games had different skill sets. The only specific thing he said was that he thought it was really crucial to be able to see how an opponent reacted to a river card. After thinking about it I guess this is pretty important as this is the only street where there is no luck and pure skill.
I asked him if he thought there was more money live or online to be made. He said he thought there was clearly more money to be made live. I then asked him if there was honestly a game that was worth more then 6 tabling 200/400 (if you had the skills). His answer was not very good here but also not fully explained so I think irrelevant.
Couldn't really get anymore then this as I was 6 tabling and he left maybe 10 minutes after I sat down.
I think its important to reiterate here that I was 6 tabling and am not quoting KT word for word but rather just reciting what I read from memory.
