Thoughts on this versus a 21/15 reg

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

Hero (MP): $53.20
CO: $48.90
BTN: $62.60
SB: $83.70
BB: $170.30
UTG: $41.05

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP)
UTG calls $0.50, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.50</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">SB raises to $7.50</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $22</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $83.70 and is All-In</font>, Hero calls $31.20 and is All-In

its fine if you have been terrorizing him.

Would it not be better to 4bet a bit lighter to $17.50? Not saying this changes our decision much, but it kind of doesn't let him play perfectly since we aren't past committment.

depends on opponent. I will 5bet shove a bunch of stuff if their 4bet looks like its engineered for a fold.

This is why you balance with AA/KK and do the same. I don't think you're losing much equity as a PSB on the flop puts all but a buck or two in the middle. And yes your thinking is correct Whyzze which is why I usually 4bet to an amount 1/3rd of the effective stack so that 5bet shoves can be lighter.
