Anything that takes this long is bound to suck (GnR "Chinese Democracy", Brian Wilson's "Smile")... If it were really any good, wouldn't it be released by now? It's been what, 7-9 years?

Usually you'd be right but Dre is a perfectionist and he's been busy working on other people's careers. Remember that there was seven years between Dre's first and second album.
