Default guy selling way overpriced tv on craigslist

So I hop on craigslist today looking to find a decent TV (hopefully 42" plasma) and I find a few, but eventually settle on emailing this one guy who must have been drunk when he posted the ad because he's selling his 42" plasma for $1075.

I lol, then send him this:

You're wayyyyyy off on this price. You can buy a new one for $699 or thereabouts on any given Sunday now!

How's $250 sound?

He counters back with

this retailed for 2k and is in like new condition. It isn't a 699 plasma and ive never seen one for that low. I won't be selling for any less than 900 sorry.

By the sounds of it, this guy went to Purdue and is stuck on stupid. I tell the guy that $900 can buy a way better TV with a warranty.

I was thinking of fake offering him his $900 if he agreed to pick up the cash and drop off the TV to my place. I was thinking of sending him to this one crack house near where I live... the guy that lives there is constantly tweaked and usually answers the door with a shotgun. Solid play?
