PokerAce Hud only connects to the Internet every time you launch if you have it set to check for updates (much like PT). It does connect to the registration server every couple of days and this will be the same for PokerTracker 3; although the entire registration system will be designed a little better, much more efficient with less false positives and an automated system to unflag your account.

I wish there was a better way to do this but we have not been able to determine one...
