You say $2000, that's 2000 USD, not 2000 EUR right? You use conflicting currencies in OP and above post, so I'm unsure.
I've found a ton of flights from Dusseldorf to Cape Town for $1900 (1300 EUR) that connect through a few spots and a few of them have different departure/return options, all for the same price, so I won't post every single one (like 4 or 5 different options) here, as I said in an earlier post of mine, PM me and I'll give you the link/screenshot if that's easier.
