Default Straylight Run

You know the emotion you feel in their singer's voice when he's like YOU WOULD KILL FOR THIS, JUST A LITTLE BIT, JUST A LITTLE BIT, YOU WOULD SING LIKE YOU THINK NO ONE'S LISTENIIING or SO WE DROOOOOVE FOR WHAT SEEMED LIKE DAYS OVER ROOOOADS AND FOUR LANE HIGHWAYS WE SAAAID ALL WE HAD TO SAY AND I REALIZED IN TIME THAT IT DIDN'T MEAN ANYTHIIIING (I don't have audio at work so I hope the quality on that is actually ok)

WHAT THE [censored] HAPPENED TO IT?

Their newest CD sounds like they went to too many poetry slams and got turned on to Kafka before smoking a bunch of weed and finally sitting down to write some new songs. Why do all these [censored] bands try to be so forcibly original and define their own unique sound if it kills what made them good in the first place? I'll go to a [censored] coffee shop if I want to hear the kind of craptastic sound spewing out of my headphones right now, thanks, you jerkoffs.

Since talking about Straylight Run anymore would be a waste of energy, can anyone tell me an indie band that doesn't sound like they've all had their balls cut off?
