I would pronounce it "jy-row" actually, even though it's not.
I can't speak right at all. The other day I was reading something to my wife and came across "Paradigm" and read it "PEAR-UH-DID-GEM" ... she looked at me funny, so I repeated it, then realized what I was doing and lost it.
