I'm actually in a former logic class. I'm surprised by how not interesting I find it, actually, given that I wholeheartedly enjoy linguistics and other things actually grammar related.

I think the upper levels of mathematics are just so abstract and completely unlike what people think math is - i.e. calculations, solving for x, etc. I don't think they're the grammar - I mean, topology is far from grammatical. They are just very very generalized ideas and thus can be hard to grasp or find a motivation for.

Favorite comedians? Mitch Hedberg! I'm a huge fan of standup so this is another thing where it's hard to choose just a few. Throughout high school I was basically glued to Friday Night Standup so I love it so.
