Default Re: Anyone do Fantasy leagues with individual defensive scoring?

[ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I personally don't understand rooting for a team defense, it is boring to me. My league uses this scoring, it is generally pretty good. I wish that Yahoo would distinguish between DL/LB though, it is hard to make DLs as good as LB tackling machines. But if you pay attention you can figure out who is good. It's not like other aspects of fantasy sports are perfect mirrors of reality either.

Tackle Solo (1)
Tackle Assist (0.5)
Sack (4)
Interception (3)
Fumble Force (2)
Fumble Recovery (1)
Touchdown (6)
Safety (2)
Pass Defended (1)

Epipen's system is interesting I may try something more like that next year.

I got 2 problems with your system. How on earth is a sack worth more than an INT. A sack isn't even a turnover, is more common and a team still keeps possession.

Also a pass deflected should be more than a tackle. A pass deflected automatically gives them no yardage and is usually a very good play. A tackle almost all the times results in gained yardage for the offense and sometimes the person making the tackle is the one who should have defended the play better ie. the cornerback or saftey.
