Default Re: Patriots line -24.5 before the end of the season?

2006 FO -- DVOA and DPAR measures of some QBs

Peyton 58, 174 [#1 in both]
Brady 19.6, 75.9
McNabb 25.5, 56.7 [#6 DVOA among starters, ahead of Brady]
Garcia 19.6, 27.3 [much worse on same team]

McNabb 2004 35.8, 107.1
"...good QB most of his career, last few years he has been one of the best." ~FO

Matt H -8.8, 7.3
Favre 4.3, 46.7
Romo 20.1, 51.3 [pretty good for a first-year starter]
Eli -1.1, 27.9
Bulger 27.4, 108.8 [just ahead of McNabb in DVOA, #2 in DPAR last year.]

When McNabb is hurt, he's an average NFL QB. The reason the Eagles are not 7-3 this year is due to 2 punt muffs = 10 pts @ GB, and Def not stopping Griese with 93 yds to go and <2 mins left.
Add to that Eagles mgmt has gotten rid of his #1 WR 2 of last 3 years, and any QB suffers, see Peyton w/o Harrison and Brady with Moss and Stallworth [v Ricochet and Gaffney] to compare stats vs themselves.

Brady and Manning also have 2 of the best 3/4 O-lines in front of them year after year. [So does Big Ben.]
