As long as Kobe stays, I agree. This team is shockingly good. The young guys have gotten a LOT better (Farmar and Bynum specifically), Derek Fisher is a light-year upgrade over Smush, Odom might actually be healthy, and Kobe is still god. The WC is still stacked, so I don't see them making the finals or anything, but this is a playoff team in its current form.

Nearly beat Phoenix two years ago w/ an inferior team. Was a top-10 team until the rash of injuries last season. Is a top 10 team now.
People way underrate Bryant's impact because he's an a$$hole in real life. Same for Phil, only he's equal parts a$$hole and funny.
