you could try rubbing in a little paste wax like pledge and that may blend the poly marks out. if that doesnt work you can try getting some satin finish as thats what it looks like, polyurethane and rub it lightly on the spots. it may take and give you something you can live with. other wise as said, sand and re poly it.
