I never said I wouldn't bet him I just said I don't understand the line. The clause about your pick is me being nitty, but in the off chance both USC, ORE, and ASU completely collapse someone outside of the Pac will end up in the rose bowl so I'm betting USC and you are basically betting anybody else.
edit NM i didn't realize pac 10 champion gets automatic berth. either way though you pick a team, i pick USC, and lets bet who ends up in the rose bowl.
