I think it is part of the Dealer's job to make a new player at the table comfortable, especially a player that may be unclear of the Blind Posting rules of that particular room. For example, the OP talks about posting "between the blinds" - guess what, that isn't an option in any of the casinos in which I play. And I do have a few Live hours logged. So this little tidbit from a Dealer would be appreciated.
Again, the net $ available to the table is unchanged.
Do you get upset when a Dealer assists other players at the BJ table?

Part of the Dealer's job is to make for a pleasant gaming experience, including for newer players.
