They will refund the time you were disconnected, or the value of one day perhaps, a couple of bucks. They provide you with a service, and you can be refunded for the lack thereof. What you are doing online, poker, stockmarket, online auction, etc. is irrelevent.
As for the poker---I don't play that high, but a friend of mine who does has a laptop on standby through a different connection. He leaves the site up with the login info ready to go for just such occasions.
