Default Re: I Worry About Some Of You

[ QUOTE ]
What Happened:
OP starts a series of threads, which result in arguments and mutual name calling. Posts about AP cheating decline dramatically.

What Should Have Happened:
OP starts a thread, declaring war on the Absolute Poker axis of evil. He explains that insider cheating at an online casino cannot be tolerated. He encourages us to declare jihad against AP by posting cliffnotes and links on every poker forum we can find on the internet. He suggests that we all temporarily change our avatars to ones that depict the "Absolute Poker cheating scandal". He encourages residents of Costa Rica to take photos of the perpetrators, their offices, and their homes, and post them on the internet. He suggests that observers at AP chat about the cheating scandal. He helps identify TV networks and websites that accept AP advertising. He provides leadership.

Maybe not the whole "take photos" part, but I definitely agree with you, especially the part about "provides leadership". As much as people looked up to Nat and Adanthar during this whole debacle, they are still young and nowhere near as wellknown as Mr. Sklansky (I had no idea who they were 2 months ago). Mr. Sklansky has the chance to step up and provide a type of leadership that has been lacking since the scandal broke. He can step up and become the spokesperson for this cause, but instead he has refused to because he is not sure they are 'thieves" and "deserve" it. That is why, Mr. Sklansky, I do not criticize you for promoting Absolute Poker. I criticize you for trying your hardest not to get involved, despite all the evidence in front of you.
