If you do, you're almost turning your hand into a bluff PF as you will mostly fold out anything you beat and get shoved by hands that have you crushed.

Against someone who you think is 3betting you light routinely, it's probably ok to do this for value and to (hopefully) shut down some of his aggression for the future.
