Replacements are very solid.
INXS Kick is one of the best pop albums of the all time. Every track could have been a single. Definitely one of my favorite guilty pleasure bands. Midnight Oil was another Aussie band that I liked (well a girl I hung with liked them so I listened to them a lot).
Devo and Oingo Boingo were cool bands to play when your parents went out for the night and you and your brother had some girls over.
