The thing is, if he does have the flush, he's not going to merely call your bet.

Meanwhile, if he's been slowplaying worse trips the whole way (not out of the question at all), he might now spring his "trap."

In short, it's a crappy situation, because a bet-fold has its risky side and a check-fold is giving too much credit and a bet-call is a way to make it easy for BB to get the rest of his stack in with a flush draw that got there.

That leaves check-calling, and although I'm not thrilled with the option, I'm not too unhappy with it either. I mean, if Villain has Ax, is he really going to check behind after spending so much time trapping, and do we really think he's going to call yet another bet on the river and turn over pocket 7's all that often?
