Default Re: Heisman Rankings

Tebow's worst performance in a loss (vs. Aub):
20-27 for 201 yards, 1 TD, 19 carries for 75 yards, 1 rush TD

McFadden's worst performance in a loss (vs. Aub):
17 carries for 43 yards, 1 catch for 5 yards, 0 TDs

So in Tebow's "bad game", he actually got more yards just on the ground than McFadden did total in his and threw the ball pretty well too. I can see saying that Dixon's more valuable since they'd lose more if he wasn't there, but Tebow hasn't played bad in Florida's losses at all this year.

I don't want to overstate my case here, as I actually have Dixon a tiny sliver ahead of Tebow right now mainly due to the wins, but Tebow's carried Florida this year. By himself, he's accomplished way more than McFadden and ignoring record altogether is probably the best player in the country this year.

Just look at this:
Darren McFadden 244 carries for 1431 yards, 5.9 YPC
Felix Jones 114 carries for 1032 yards, 9.2 YPC

McFadden's a great pro prospect and he may be the most talented back in the country, but he hasn't shown me anything this year that screams Heisman. I doubt that Arkansas would have even one less win if Felix Jones was the feature back and you plugged someone average like Maurice Wells into the #2 RB spot.
