Pretty much. The teacher hasn't been suspended and I doubt she'll face disciplinary action. It's too funny to get worked up over.
The US attitude to sex is really quite out there compared to the rest of the first world.

Us Brits make a national pastime out of childishly giggling at anything with any sexual innuendo in it. It makes it impossible for anyone to take a story like this seriously. Which is a good thing.
