I pay USA taxes. I don't pay taxes in Argentina. I get approximately ~$18k knocked off my USA tax bill for living abroad plus no state income tax.

do you know roughly what percent is knocked off for living overseas? Ballpark it if it's not a simple answer, I'm just really curious.

Also make sure to check out Gabriel Garcia Marquez (though you probably already have since he's a pretty huge Spanish writer), his big epic novels are good but I really like Chronicle of a Death Foretold and it's a lot shorter.
