so the average american gambler (assuming those 100million are the total population of american gamblers) loses $6billion/year on gambling (i'm assuming the gambling here is a loss, otherwise, this would make sense [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]).

those same american gamblers probably don't spend the GDP of small countires on food each year...though judging by the waistelines in this country it probably isn't far off.

and isn't that the next step? protecting us from ourselves in terms of food? i mean, really...McDonalds kills more people than gambling...and far more of its patrons likely suffer from depression (since poor fat people are more likely to consume mcdonalds than rich thin people), shouldn't mcdonalds be treated as a criminal organisation?
