I don't understand. If you're worried about getting blown off AQ by a turn bluff why would you bet KQ? Why be KQ period if his range is air or monsters? With KQ I'm more apt to check the turn and show it down.

Because I expect him to fold to a bet a huge majority of the time once he checks the turn. You realise KQ is K high with a gutshot here, yes? And we have AK not AQ. He might have checkraised flop with air that beats my air (44,etc). I am not worried about getting blown off my hand by a turnbluff with KQ.
