I'd give him a range of like 66+,AQs+,AKo.

I bet this flop like 90% of the time after 3betting it - checking is really weak and you give yourself no real chance of winning the hand. If you bet, you give hands like 66,77,99-JJ/AQ/AK a chance to fold, whereas they might bet if you check.

The shorter stack left does matter IMO because you are in a somewhat protected pot. He is probably calling with ATC, so the pot will be big if you bet say $20, MP2 throws his $12 in and it gets to the button who might be tempted to call with his middle pair.

Since this is a protected pot, I probably just check/fold the flop as weak as it seems. If it was HU with the button, the pot would be smaller and a standard cbet might have a better chance of taking this pot down.
