You only cited statistics of single-offender violent crimes. The 70% that he claimed included all violent crimes (but I can't speak to the veracity of his source).

Your parsing of the claims aside, he stil pulled the 70% out of his arse. I think he has a future in politics ... or perhaps as a rush limbaugh fact checker.
