BEAT: TIAA-CREF Sucks Donkey Balls
Beat: Called up TIAA-CREF to cash out an old retirement account from a job in 2004. Asked about vesting, they told me no problem. This was August 14th. Found out yesterday that I wouldn't be fully vested until late 2009. They went ahead and cashed me out without telling me this, costing me 4 grand. Also, since they've taken 3 [censored] months to get around to figuring out their asses from their elbows, they've cost me another ~$700 in gold appreciation (which is where I'm moving the money into).
