This is the reality of the situation: the NYC clubs aren't safe. Your analogy isn't the same. When someone dies from an amusement park ride accident, that ride IS shut down. I'm not advocating that every poker club in America should be closed. I'm not condemning poker. I'm not saying that poker is an unsafe activity. I'm saying that NYC club poker is in an unsafe environment. Right now, the amusement park ride that is NYC club poker isn't working and it needs to be cooled down.

And if you're thinking poker will be legalized in NYC, you're not being realistic.
