Bed, what are you talking about?

The $12 mil goal is very aggressive. The $4 mil was an aggressive sub-goal, which they missed and probably expected to miss (but as of today are right back on track and will soon be ahead of track). What do you want, a memo on the front page saying "guys, just wanted to let everyone know we fell a little short of the October goal but have made up for it in November"? lol

The point of these goals is to give people something to shoot for and encourage a team/community type atmosphere. You make it sound like it is some sort of conspiracy if they change the approach.

Also you should maybe consider that they didn't want to list a humble "4 million" monthly goal in the midst of a massive grassroots effort to approach or exceed that in one day.
