I have won entry into all 4 satellite's running at my casino into a $3K event, and 2 of them were played on the weekend. Bomb out 19th in the $340r after getting shortish, having my table break while I was OTB, and getting moved into the BB. ertgertoearotgbarlgb.

Then the $560 FO. 53 runners, 8 tickets + 9th gets $2500. 4K starting stacks, 30 min levels. We're into hour 3, it's 200/400. UTG+1 raises to 900, folds to me in the BB who has AA, I pop to 2500 (starting stacks were UTG+1 7600, me 7800), he tanks & shoves, I instacall. He has KK. Flop is 5d6s7d. I have the Ad, so I have the backdoor covered. My heart skips a beat when the dealer flips a Q on the turn, then I have a sinking feeling as he flips the K over on the river. Ugh.

So devastated. This $3K event is the biggest ever to be held in my stats & I so badly want to play.

Usually this kind of stuff doesn't bother me a lot because what goes around comes around & I believe it'll all even out in the end. But in 4 tournaments, luck won't even itself out.

Now I'm stressting all week waiting for next weekend to hopefully secure my seat. If I don't, I'll be very, very grumpy!
