Default Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines

Arkansas @ Tennessee -2.5? (Jekyll and Hyde Game of the Year)
Illinois @ Ohio State -16
Auburn @ UGA PK

I know UGA is playing better now that Moreno is getting the carries, but if Auburn can handle the Arkansas running game I'm confident they can handle UGA's. Plus they come out like world beaters in these road games and should be looking for revenge after UGA embarrased them last year. I hate disagreeing with Austiger on his area of expertise but I think 3 is too many here.

Kentucky -4.5 @ Vanderbilt, O/U 58.5

Tough game to cap really. Kentucky coming off a bye week after a horrid performance at home to Miss. St, Vandy licking their wounds after getting pounded in the Swamp. HFA for Vandy is minimal, maybe 1 point - UK will have approx. 50% of the fans, crowd noise won't be an issue, 2.5 hr drive from Lexington. Just last season, the books had UK a 1-point dog at home to Vandy, although I think that line was significantly off and UK handled them easily. Keenan Burton (the most important player to UK's offense besides Woodson), who missed the MSU game, should play, as should #2 RB Tony Dixon (I'd call them probable), who also missed the MSU game. I'd call #1 RB Rafael Little questionable with a deep thigh bruise - he has been a notorious Vandy killer. UK Safety Marcus McClinton is out for the regular season, but there is only a small drop-off to his backup who has seen plenty of playing time. If Burton is out for whatever reason, line should be revised down to 2.5ish.

Mackenzie Adams, a pocket passer, has started the last few games for Vandy in lieu of the more mobile Chris Nickson, who gave UK fits last year - I would expect Adams to start until I hear otherwise, although Vandy would be smart to play Nickson at least a little.
