i agree, if i was hero i'd push here and risk running into 99, which is the only hand that i would regard likely to beat me here.

but another question: how would you play that hand if you were BB and held 99 or JT?
i wouldn't re-raise with a straight on a board without a flush draw or likely higher straight draw.
i'd leave the betting and the aggression to the initial raiser so he doesn't fold TPTK or two-pair.
Is that sensible play in the long run?
