I hope you are not splitting the same hair as Josem. Whether it's illegal for the player to go to the site or illegal for the site to permit Aussies to play there, the effect of the law is the same: it's illegal for Aussie residents to play online poker.

You should read Josem's post. Clearly, sites based in Antigua do not care what Aussie law says, and aren't afraid of Aussie enforcement, whereas Aussie firms have more to fear.
