just remembered i was in this same boat my jr year of hs. except i sat next to the girl in class and we were good friends at first. we hung out a bunch and crap but i was too much of a puss to pull the trigger with this girl so the opportunity came and went. it was so obvious that we liked each other that people would ask me if we were dating all the time. i guess she got the impression that i just wanted to be friends and by the time i got the balls to ask her out she had put that notion out of her head.
don't do it that way.
